Pulse Design Studio receives a Gold Certification for the 2016 AVA Digital Awards category in PowerPoint design!
The AVA Digital is an international competition that recognizes outstanding achievement by creative professionals involved in the the concept, direction, design and production of media that is a part of the evolution of digital communication. It honors the evolving ways and means that we engage our audiences through the creative convergence of digital arts, technology and information.
The entry submitted for the award entitled: ‘Mobile Freedom’ is an animated PowerPoint presentation for Microsoft Advertising- which included story boarding, animation, layouts, brand guidelines as well as copy writing and editing. The presentation was used to support Microsoft’s campaign initiative to address the emerging needs of providing a more mobile and diverse workplace in which employees often work at home, on the road, or on the go.
The project began with developing a strong, yet captivating visual for the campaign theme, found on the cover. This 3D transparent cube opening, symbolically embraced the concept of the digital worker breaking free from the confines of the physical cubical environment, and into a flexible, and mobile work space- on the go, and from anywhere. This visual concept would later inspire the brand guidelines for the campaign which were also developed as part of the project:
For the PowerPoint presentation, dynamic animation was developed in order to capture the ‘storytelling’ nature of the campaign’s theme. All custom animation techniques were programmed using PowerPoint’s animation controls, producing a very flash-like, and engaging experience.
Judges for the AVA Digital award are made up of industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry.

The AVA Digital Awards is sponsored and judged by the Association of Marketing and Communication Professionals (AMCP). The international organization consists of several thousand production, marketing, communication, advertising, public relations, and free-lance professionals.
